We have heard and seen many love triangle stories from our own lives & it would have always surprised us how determined people are even though not all 3 in the love traingle can be successful in the end.
The love Triangle between Draupati, Karna & Uruvi from Mahabharat is though unacknowledged in the scripture is still a topic of fascination and is all over the internet a topic of discussion. Karna born to Kunti & The sun god, living as a sutaputra because his foster parents Radha & Adhirata are sutaputras. Draupati the most beautiful women of Mahabharat , also known as Panchali the wife of the 5 Pandavas. Uruvi not eveidently mentioned a karna's wife in Mahabharat, the second wife of Karna, Purkeya princess( reference from Karna's wife, the outcast queen by @kanekavita)
Karna goes to Draupati's swayamwara( marriage ceremony) and gets intrigued by her beauty but Draupati though is attracted to him insults him by remarking on his low birth and chooses the man her father approves Arjuna. This hurts karna deeply. Uruvi who blindly loves karna even though karna doesn't know of it, who eventually marries karna. Karna at a point had feelings for Draupati, an infactuation or attraction whereas Uruvi is headover heals in love with karna.
In the end as per the book , Karna’s wife, The outcast queen by Kavita Kane, Karna too falls in love with Uruvi and admits to her that he once loved Draupadi but his love is Uruvi forever. This is a beautiful love triangle though acknowledged or not in the mahabharat or anywhere. And the tension in the love triangle is something relatable from real life. There are many love triangles that intrigue us but this is one of the most beautiful love triangle’s from mythology.
