Beyond Scrolls: There is a life !

It’s not always easy to be simple, to cry, to converse, or to process what’s within. We all have our good days, bad days, uncertain days, and, occasionally, our most productive days. Protecting our minds and happiness should be a priority. Many of us don’t realize that we’re people-pleasers, often more concerned with others’ satisfaction than our own.

Social media hasn’t made this any easier; we’ve lost the art of genuine smiles and laughter. Behind the screens, it’s a facade. We feel pressured to present only the “best” version of ourselves. We see others' achievements and start to feel we’re falling behind. Successful careers, happy couples, shiny new cars, homes, and international trips flood our feeds, making us question our progress. But if we measure ourselves by these standards, we’ll always feel inadequate.

It’s crucial to remember that real progress isn’t in the fan followings, glam, or the attention we chase online. At the end of the day, comfort comes from meaningful connections, not from the illusions social media creates.

While there’s a silver lining in sharing our voices, social media is ultimately a space that can shrink our minds if we let it consume us. Let’s reclaim our time, choose what’s real, and find fulfillment in life beyond the scroll.
